Headed up into Scotland Today.
We spent the morning in Whitby and went up to Whitby abby which is on the top of the hill behind the hotel. It was a Catholic Church when Henry VIII took over and burnt most of them down. It was interesting to see a church that old and what had been able to withstand the test of time and fire.
After that we started the long drive up to Edinburgh about 180 miles north. After about two hours we saw signs for Hadrians Wall, so we turned off. After failing to find said wall, we stopped in for lunch. I had a BLT which was excellent. After lunch we headed north again. It took us about an hour to reach the Scotland-England Border. Another hour or so to Edinburgh. We checked into the hotel and met up with friends of my sister for dinner. We ate at a small restaurant. I had the Ribeye steak for dinner and a pear dish for desert. After dinner we called it a night, to prepare for walking all around Edinburgh tomorrow.

Don't feel too bad, I'm sure you're not the first one who couldn't find Hadrians Wall.
